Random Stuff that I love

Dave and Lori are in Colorado visiting her family for the next 2 weeks so we are watching Jack Jack. He has stayed here several times before, but never with Thomas. They had a rough start together, but now they are best friends. They sleep together at night and play during the day. I love having both of them around.

A couple nights ago I tried giving Danny an airplane ride. He was pretty unstable, but he loved it.

Oops. I knew he was going to fall off I just didn't know when and how bad the crash was going to be. Besides getting a bite of my toe he landed on his feet and wanted to do it again.

Some Gardening

Dan had off of work on Friday, so we decided to go to a nursery here in Perkasie and spruce up our front step. Here is a before picture

Here is the after picture. We filled 8 pots including the bird bath. I'm the most excited about the strawberry and the blueberry plants. Hope we get some fruit.

Mary's Bridal Shower

On Wed. Danny and I went out to Harrisburg for my college roommate Mary's surprise Bridal shower. She and her fiance were in from Santa Rosa Ca. for the week. This is Erin's daughter named Gracie. I've been talking about her since we got home. She is so cute and so funny. She and Danny had a great time together.

Mary seemed really surprised. It was so fun. The shower was a game theme, and Nita put tons of work into making it special and fun. I played games that I've never even heard of before.

Nita always brings the kids the most wonderful gifts. Here they are setting up an awesome Unicef train that she got Danny.

Danny only got about 5 hours of sleep on Wed. night and he was exhausted on Thur. I couldn't believe that he fell asleep on Becky's lap. He hasn't slept in my arms since he was an infant.

Thomas

Well it's official. Our kitty is named Thomas, and Danny is finally figuring out the difference between the train and his cat.

Danny and Thomas are becoming good friends, which is what I was hoping for. They do really well playing together.

Group Date

On Saturday afternoon we had our group date. Dan and I had to plan this one and we weren't too sure what to do. We went chip and putting at the Spring Mill Country Club. It was tons of fun and the weather ended up holding out for us.

Happy 30th Dave! Surprise!!ss

For Dave's birthday, Lori planned a large surprise party in the park for him. As we were getting ready a mystery guest showed up on Grandpa's arm.

It was Dave's Mom up from TN. Somehow Joy knew right away, but it took me till she took the hat off to figure it out
