Taking a ride on Toby the diesel trolley
This cute little train was called the Cagney. It was very old and very cool. We were able to go on a ride pulled in the carts behind it.
Thomas chugging along in the distance
There were tons of horse and buggies on the roads with us. Danny loved looking out the window at the horsies, but it kind of freaked me out. This picture was taken at a 5 point intersection, and the boy driving the buggy couldn't have been more than a teenager. The horse totally beat our Volvo out of the gate.

Hotel Pool

When I was looking for a place to stay, I had 2 criteria in mind. I wanted a free breakfast, and an indoor pool. Danny loved the pool even though it was a little chilly, and we swam both nights that we were there.
Showing off his belly before the big jump to Daddy
He loved being thrown into the air
Danny must have jumped off the wall 30 times to Dan. He would "swim" to the steps and climb out, then slip on the tile, wipe out, and get up and jump in again and again

Rainy Saturday in Lancaster

After getting to bed pretty late on Friday night we woke up at 6am on Saturday to the fire alarm. Dan went to investigate and learned that someone burnt a waffle.
Despite the rain, we headed to Dutch Wonderland for our free hour visit. We actually got to go on 4 rides in our hour, and Danny had a wonderful time. We rode the train, the sky ride, and the race cars 2 times.
I really want to go back sometime for the whole day. It's so cool that the park is designed for kids Danny's age.

Thomas

Danny and Thomas are turning out to be great friends and this makes me very happy. They play pretty well together, and are always near each other.

My little Tommy isn't so little anymore. I think he is in the awkward teenage phase. His legs seem really long, and he is still too skinny for my liking. There is nothing that I would like more than for him to grow up and be overweight.

Soccer Tournament

Danny was very proud of his soccer Dad.
Jay, Dan, and Kevin
Danny really enjoyed watching the soccer game, but just like his mother, he was more interested in eating
He saw the cooler open up from halfway down the field, and he was there in a second looking for anything he could get his hands on. That's my boy!

Danny and the giant

Danny is very fond of Eric, which you would never be able to tell from these pictures because it looks like he is trying to kill him.
Well this just doesn't look good at all, I hope he's breathing with that car in his mouth
Oh good, he's OK. Danny would have been very sad if he lost his wrestling buddy.

Really Andy? What kind of face is that?
Danny getting geared up to sub in
I went to Lauren's baby shower after the first soccer game was over. There was more soccer going on there and Danny did great. He looked like a pro.
It was a wonderful shower and Lauren looked amazing as always. However, it was raining really hard when I tried to leave, and my car went for a little swim on her road. Long story short. We need a new engine in our new car. Big oops.

Mimi and Papi's visit

One of Danny's favorite games is racing. He likes to start at the door and almost always gets a head start. It was really nice to have Mimi and Papi to race with him so I could have a break.
These are some of my favorite pictures from the trip. Danny has his own laptop. It is mine from college and is probably worth something as an antique. He wanted to be just like Papi. I love how he is kinda peeking at Dad's screen.
Deep in computer concentration.
Thomas was getting a lot of attention, so Danny started rolling around on the floor meowing.

Chuck E Cheese

It rained most of the week that my parents were up from Fl. The yucky weather helped them not miss PA too much. One rainy afternoon we headed to Chuck E Cheese. Danny takes his rides very seriously. He always has.
The bike that goes up in the air
This was a good ride, I really liked the horse race.

Riding the big white horse. I like how much they are both concentrating
The bulldozer game looks cool, but it's not all that great
Mimi did great a ski ball
shooting some "street hoops"

Eli's 2nd birthday party

While my parents were up, we were able to go to Eli's party. Everyone had a great time.
The noise makers were a huge hit
