1 week old

I can't believe that Ana is 1 week old today. It honestly just seems like yesterday I was pregnant. Time is already flying.

2nd bath. We took pictures of her first bath but had some downloading issues and lost those. oops

I'm going to try and take pictures of her on this chair as a marker of how she is growing.

We took them at night so sadly the lighting wasn't great

SHE'S FINALLY HERE!!!!

Dan and Steph Emr are proud to announce the arrival of their beautiful baby girl, Analee MarieEmr.

Tiny and Slimy, but we love her.

She weighed 6 lbs. 14 oz. and was 20.5 inches long.

Long and Lean. Doing the Michael Jordan pose. Who knows...WNBA in her future....probably not with my skill set and genes.

Mommy SO HAPPY to hear her cry and see her. And me doing my best to stay out of the way.

Steph gets to see Analee for the first time, and it was immediate tears. She got me crying too, so it was a good ol' sob-fest in the OR.

Steph gave her some loving motherly kisses and she instantly calmed down.

We had great nurses and anesthesiologists who took over camera duty so I could pay attention to Steph and the delivery. They took some great pictures!

This is apparently her favorite thing to do. She hasn't eaten much today because she's been too busy sleeping.

The doctors aren't worried though.....

I think that is because she looks so stinkin cute when she's asleep.

Could he be any happier? Danny was so excited to hold her. We didn't have to ask him twice, that's for sure.

Pillow Pet. Danny's special present from Analee was a Pengiun Pillow Pet. He's wanted one for so long and he was so excited. We asked him where he got the present from. His answer, "from .com PillowPet." We couldn't convince him otherwise. Oh well, he still loved it, even if he doesn't think his baby sister gave it to him.

I can't get over how much I love this little one. She is a really good snuggler (if you haven't figured it out yet this is Daddy blogging).
