The Crayola Factory

In December we went to the Crayola Factory with the Burns'. Danny and I were making a Christmas poster. He had a lot of fun with all the paints, clay, and crayons
So this isn't the most flattering picture of me, but I just love the look of disgust as I am wresting this Danny. He was determined to roll paint on his sweatshirt.
Our finished project, they looked great

Dan and Doug. I can't see Reegan's face in this picture, but I'm sure her expression matches my feelings exactly.

Which color should I choose for my ornament?
I'm loving this painting, because I don't see any messy paint involved.
Dan and Danny making a wax dripping
I liked this wax area because of the smell of the melted crayons. Don't even asks what's on Danny's pants because I have no idea (as usual).

Danny at the Eiffel Tower
You can't see it in the picture, but Danny's shadow was on the screen as he danced to music. There is no doubt in my mind that he would have stayed in this area and danced all day. Dan looks pretty into it too.

A fun night out with no kids

Months ago we went out for the afternoon and evening with the Jackson's and Black's. We had a very wonderful time. I forgot how fun it is to hang out with just adults. We are hoping to do it again soon, but I believe I am supposed to be planning it so don't hold your breath.
At the New Hope Winery.
Two goofs in the car. Jason was driving. It was really fun to all be able to fit in one car.
Walking around Doylestown looking for a place to eat. (Look at our faces, can't you tell we're really missing the kids :)

Eating a candy cane

Caught with the evidence on his face
Oh...I really love this candy cane
Sugar high smile
I love this slightly shy look. ( I don't get to see shy very often)

Tiffany's Christmas Party

Dan's friend Tiffany from college has moved kinda in the area, and invited us to her Christmas party.
It was tons of fun, but we were pretty tired. I don't think we got there till almost 11
Tiffany's a goof so she and Dan get along great
Dave went to school with Tiffany also so he and Lori were there too. It was a good time. Great food!

Choosing the perfect tree

Cramming in the truck early Saturday morning to find the perfect tree. We went to a new place this year that the Jackson's recommended. It was really fun because you get a cart and a saw, and wander into their fields looking for the perfect tree. It will be a new family tradition, but next year hopefully we won't choose the coldest day of the month. It was FREEZING!
Danny loves helping, and he was excited to pull the cart
Smiling at the start of our trip before their faces froze solid
I'm pretty sure you weren't supposed to walk across this area, but it made for a nice picture.

always the wanderer
measuring to make sure it will fit in the fireplace room
He was so bundled, but still so cold
This is the one!

Danny, are you sure this is the perfect tree?
Yep, let's cut it down
Boogie man
This was the first time that Danny has worn boots. He really struggled with it at first. He started by taking these huge awkward steps, but was doing fine by the end

Where's the line to pay for this thing? I'm freezing!
Mom, it's this way, let's go!
Poor child has the same watery eye problem that I have
So glad that we have a truck to transport our tall tree
